About Me: Lifestyle Photographer

Hi, I'm Meredith!

I'm so glad you're here.

Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. As a child, I spent hours looking through old family photographs and learning everything I could about cameras—from film photography to Canon DSLRs and now Sony mirrorless systems. One black-and-white portrait of my late mother has always stood out among the thousands of photographs my family owns. It remains one of my most treasured possessions and inspired the timeless black-and-white portrait style that has become my signature today.

Although I dreamed of becoming a photographer from a young age, my professional journey took a different path at first. I graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Hospitality Management, but shortly after graduation, my mother passed away from pancreatic cancer. In her honor, I founded Linda's Hope, a Nashville-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting pancreatic cancer research and families facing the disease.

Through Linda's Hope, we raised and donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to pancreatic cancer research, patient support initiatives, and ongoing educational funding through the Linda's Hope Endowment at Vanderbilt University and Discovery Grants at Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center. Along the way, I was honored to be recognized as one of Nashville's Top 30 Under 30, Nfocus Magazine's Model Behavior, and Nashville Lifestyles' Nashville Heroes.

When I became a mother in 2018, my passion for photography took on an entirely new meaning. Like so many parents, I quickly realized just how fleeting childhood can be. The tiny details, the personalities, the milestones, and the everyday moments seem to change overnight.

That realization inspired me to launch Meredith Crowley Photography.

Today, I specialize in creating timeless portraits that celebrate connection, personality, and the beauty of every season of family life.

My goal is to create photographs that will become treasured heirlooms for generations to come. Long after the toys are gone and the memories begin to fade, your photographs remain.

I truly believe that investing in photography is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself and the people you love.

Ongoing Education

Continued learning is incredibly important to me. I regularly invest in mentorships, workshops, retreats, online courses, and hands-on training opportunities to refine my craft and better serve my clients. I believe great photographers never stop learning, growing, and creating. Interested in mentorship with me? Please send me a message!
