About Me: Family and Children Photographer

Hi! I am so glad you are here!

I have always been passionate about photography. Growing up, I would spend hours sifting through our old photos, practicing on film, then Canon DSLR, and now, Sony Mirrorless. Today,  there is one black and white portrait of my late mom that seems to stand the test of time. It is one of my most cherished possessions, and it inspired my signature black and white portrait photography.

While I have had the desire to pursue photography since childhood, I did not start my professional career until my early thirties. I attended Auburn University and graduated with a degree in Hospitality Management. However, life shifted and so did my career path. My mom passed away from pancreatic cancer a few months after my college graduation. From there, I founded a nonprofit in Nashville in my mother's honor after her namesake, Linda"s Hope

Through my nonprofit, we raised and donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to pancreatic cancer research, families in need and continuing educational research funding through Linda's Hope Endowment at Vanderbilt University and Discovery Grants at Vanderbilt Ingram Cancer Center. I received honors such as,, "Nashville's Top 30 under 30" and Nfocus Magazine's, "Model Behavior", Nashville Lifestyle Magazine's "Nashville Heroes".

It was not until I had my own kids, Everly (6), and Noah (4), that I was able to pursue my  love for photography.

I started Meredith Crowley Photography to thoughtfully capture your family's fleeting moments.. Investing in photography is one of the only investments that lives on long after we are gone. I believe it is one of the greatest gifts you can give to yourself and your loved ones.

Continuing my photography education through mentorships, workshops, online classses (Unraveled Academy), and retreats is extremely important me. A photographer should always be practicing and seeking education!
